hoof boots and shoes?

My horse lost a shoe this week and still seems a bit sore on that foot even though the shoe is now back on. I was wondering if there is any brand of hoof boot I can put on OVER the shoe to cushion him a bit even just in the field? All the previous posts have been about replacing shoes with hoof boots or using them in emergencies when a shoe has been lost. I'd be grateful if anyone knows of a brand of boot I can use over the shoe. Not sure if this would work, but worth a go...

It won't work. Boots are not designed to go over shoes.

I used Boa boots successfully to stop my tb losing shoes before I went barefoot but found them too slippery to use in the mud so they were a summer only option
