Just wondering on recommendations- which you use, what you like and where you get them? Pimms and strawberries for all answers : )

I use Easyboot Gloves on my TB's front feet when she needs them. I have the power straps fitted. Not tried any others as these have worked really well for us from the start. Never had any probs with rubbing or twisting but have had one come loose a couple of times at a gallop.

I have the pink Cavallo Simple boots for my TB for hacking. £85 from Horse and More on Ebay. Stays put, simple to put on, no rubs :)

I use Easyboot Epics. No problems with them. I find them more forgiving in fit and more secure than the Gloves, though with a perfect fit the Gloves are good.

I have the old macs g2 for my tb's fronts :) good quality and excellent grip! Don't turn or rub and very secure! They are more of a hassle to put on than the cavallos but it makes them stay put! :)

I've had in the past old mac g2's - easy first time boots if a bit clumpy looking. I did hundreds of miles in them before the tread started to go. I've now got easyboot gloves, it's took some tinkering with the size to get the perfect fit and now they are bit tricky to get on, but no rubs, now twisting and stay on in all conditions and all paces. When I had the sizing wrong they tended to come off the hoof at mid gallop, but still stay attached around the pastern, which would lead to my arab suddenly turning into a hackney

I've seen the Easy boot bare and thought they looked good and cavallos thanks for all your help guys

I would go with renegades every time. Easy to put on and secure if properly sized. Hoofbootique. Great knowledgeable service.
