Hi my highland has terrible feet, and I have been strongly advised by farrier to leave him unshod for the next 4-6 months so that they can grow strong with no nail holes in them. But he is very flat footed and I can barely lead him across the yard never mind ride him with out shoes. So I need to buy him boots.
He will be hacking 1-3 times a week and schooling the other days of the week.
Another livery has cavallo sport boots for their little 12hh pony, but they only school. And I want to hack through fields and forests and road as well as school.
Can anyone give me any advice on whether to get the cavallo sport or trek?

Look at hoof boutique,it's the hoof measurements and shape that determines the boot that will suit the foot shape. Also have a look at the barefoot page on FB as diet has the biggest impact on foot health get that right and you won't need to have him re shod xx
