Hoof boots - same front and back or doesnt it matter?

As title really? Do I need the same make and style all round or would different ones be ok?

You can have different boots on the front and back, sometimes you have too as the backs can be such a different shape to the fronts!

Ah good point never thought of that my brain obviously isnt working today. Poor Moo got a stone wedged in her back foot yesterday and is still sore on it today. I suppose it does make sense to do all four not just the front ones

With Cavallo hoof boots a lot of people have the Simple boots on the front and the Sport boots on the back. Sport tend to fit the back hooves better as they are slightly narrower than Simple. Works well. Liz

It's fine to use 2 different types.When I boot the hinds I use Gloves as my horse tends to twist one hind boot and as they don't have any metal bits inside they don't hurt the foot. I either use Gloves or Bares on the fronts.
