YO has just bought some ?boa? horse boots for her horse whilst his feet grow.
They seem like the best ones to buy. Said horse has a tendancy to get things off but these stay put.

One of my boarders has just ordered some Boa's for her horse. I haven't seen them in action but I am very interested in whether her opinion is that they are better than the Old Mac's - she borrowed my Old Mac's a couple of times so she will be the best judge.

As I have a barefoot horse I'm always on the barefoot forum (EE) and Old Macs are by far the favourite. I use them, and they are easy to put on and take off, durable, rarely rub and stay put. Boas are prone to breaking, some of the other makes have a tendency to fly off, and can be hard to put on. I would definitely go for Old Macs, and get the G2s, they are a neater fit.

Haven't used Old Macs but use Boas as both emergency boots when a shoe is lost in competition and as a poultice boot. Stays put, doesn't rub, highly recommended.
