Online at the Saddlery Shop, they have and advice column as well as how to measure your horses foot. I have used them, as I am going bare foot. They are really good. I have bought Easy boot Epic's.

url is: http://www.thesaddleryshop.co.uk/

My bare foot trim reccommended them, and so far they have come up with the goods.

also recommend saddlery shop. I went for Boas as I liked the dial tightening, much easier when out and about. They have been great and have lasted 2 years already, tho I dont need them all the time. The only time my mare has preferred not to have them on is in very slick slippy mud, then she prefers nothing on.

Boas are good for feet like hers which are very round and very flat.

Depends on hoof shape, I think if you get the right boot for the hoof shape they pretty much all stay on!

I have used the old macs G2 (for longer than wide feet) and they lasted 6 months of quite heavy use in all conditions. I've now bought a pair of Easyboots Glove (the EASIEST boot in the world to put on and off!) which fit my girls hinds for doing more road work. I then decide that I wasn't quite overdrawn enough and bought a pair of Easyboot Edge's for the front

I can highly recommend the Old Mac boots. My ex Lammi pony has them on when ridden and when going to field (as there are loads of stones on pathway). Due to rubbish farrier previously he is currently unable to be shod.

Since you posted it in vets can I ask if there is a reason hoof boots are needed? The easyboot RX is a remiedial hoofboot that can be left on for longer periods of time (it has vent to allow air circulation which other boots don't.

I also believe the easyboots (the whole range) can be used as turnout boots, they can't be left on 24 hours a day (as the foot will rot) but they are designed for distance riding so could be left on for about 12 hours without heating hte hoof to much.

My chap has a full set of Old mac g2s for the winter when he has his shoes off.
They are fab. A bit fiddly and annoying to clean but worth every penny.
My friend who is a EP says there are some new amazing boots being made in the US but not sure of the name. There is a UK stockist tho. Sorry that 2nd bit wasnt much help lol
