My horse is barefoot and would like to keep him that way. I would like to try hoof boots for hard ground. I have used cavellos for another pony. They are good but a bit "clompy" What would other hoof boot users recommend? Thanks.
Also any good supplements for hoof health for a barefoot good doer?

I’d recommend contacting the Hoof Bootique. They’re really helpful on advising which brand and style will suit your horse. Even small differences in size and shape can mean that one style isn’t suitable, but another might be. When I first took my horse’s back shoes off, I had Equine Fusions, but his feet have since grown and I’ve had to go for Scoot Boots (which are a bit less clompy and much easier to get on).

correct size is the main driver for hoof boot shopping. I've always used easyboot gloves but scoots, renegades and a couple of others are equally low profile/work orientated.

Cavallos are clompy!

I love my flex boots as well and they are more forgiving than most boot shops seem to think as well. If you contact flex direct they will give you lots of advice and tell you if they will work for you or not

I used Urban Horse. I sent photos and measurements and on their advice, ordered a fit kit with 3 sizes to try - we tried Scoot Boots.
(Had only previously used Cavallos).

Can't fault the service, or the boots. We used them whenever the ground might be very stony or we werent sure what ground might be encountered.

Daughter did sponsored rides etc so did fast work over xc fences and never a slip.
