Hi there
I’ve ordered a pair of hoof boots and agreed to pay in 4 instalments (2 paid already)
The 3rd payment is due Thursday but I still haven’t got my boots and Barry needs them
The girl I’m buying them off is a company but I text her last week and she said she was in hospital and she didn’t know for how long
Which 100% fair obviously
I texted her there yesterday asking how she was and she’s read and ignored my message
And basically I’m just nervous as I feel unsure about keeping paying when I’m not getting my boots or receiving any kinda timeframe? As Barry is now very hard to get to leave the field as he’s sore and the physio needs me to start work with him to strengthen his back..I could get them off actual scoot boots as I know his size now but I’ve already paid for half of the boots!
Any ideas?

I personally wouldn't keep paying if there's no dispatch date in sight, far too many chancers out there. Can you afford to buy them elsewhere and cancel your order with her?

I’ve been saving for a saddle and wouldn’t be able to afford boots til Thursday and then wouldn’t have though for saddle ? it’s why instalments were really great for me!
I’m so terrible at confrontation ?
I’ll message her again
Say I’m stopping payments until I get confirmation of dispatch?

Yes! Just go into paypal and remove your payment details if you have to. Paypal are really good at refunding you even though the dispute is ongoing! ?its the best way to ? ? pay

If you paid via PayPal it should be very easy to get your money back as BB says. It's not confrontation it's just having the expectation of a reasonable level service.

She can't help being in hospital but as a business owner she should have contingency plans for things like that, or at least good communication to the impacted customers. It sounds like she has neither, but that's not your problem.

I’ve been trying to get some second hand but Barry’s feet are so small I’m convinced he’s the only horse in ireland with size 0 in scoots ?

He wont be the only one lol, my horse has tiny feet for a big boy and one is noticeably bigger than the other ? the farrier said I really dont understand how he was so successful racing lol ???
