My farrier came last night and moaned that my horse is really not growing any hoof and that I need to address this or I will end up with a lame pony at some point. I use cornucresine on coronet band but what do you guys use that actually works?

She is fed Baileys conditioning mix, tiger oats and lo cal

We used to have a horse with very slow and poor hoof growth and found that straight Biotin worked wonders. I think that NAF does one. You have to feed quite a lot to start with, but then you can drop down the quantity after a few months.

Farriers formula has worked well in the past.
I've found that swapping to happy hoof from hi-fi lite has resulted in really strong feet for current horse, so it might be worth considering adding it to the feed.

I was considering adding Biotin as sure getting enough of other supplements from the hard feed. I will also look at happyhoof

Most of our horses are barefoot and we feed Top Spec Balancers. Some are on the normal one, others are on the Anti Lam one. Not only is the balancer great for their general health etc but you don't need any other supplements either. Would definitely recommend you speak to Nicola Tyler at Top Spec and she will happily advise you. Best of all there isn't a sales pitch with it!
