People who can afford those prices are highly unlikely to be actually using grooming brushes and hoofpicks - think they would pay those prices for equipment for their grooms to use?

No I hate designer stuff and all it stands for.
If I won a million pounds tomorrow I still wouldn't pay £280 for a hoofpick. Depends on how you see 'value for money' or even how you judge items yourself. I hate being ripped off for things. I would hate to have the 'right' style of handbag and the 'right style' of jeans but be left in debt for it. Just can't see the reasoning to be honest.

I still wouldn’t pay £280 for a hoof pick. I like quality, and try to buy the best I can afford where it counts, e.g. tack. But I can’t see how much better that hoof pick would be over my normal 80p ones. When you’re bent over holding a muddy hoof, trying to aim the pickings into a bucket to keep the bed clean, with the horse passing wind, would you honestly be thinking the extra £279.20 you paid has improved your hoof-picking experience?

I think that is slightly unfair. Whilst I think £280 for a hoofpick is ridiculous, their handbags are fantastic and incredibly well made.

I actually quite like the hoof pick and the saddlecloth but would only pay a fiver max for the HP and maybe 30 quid for the saddlecloth. I'm with everyone else on this one - even if I had the money I wouldnt pay those prices!!! The fact that there are no actual technical details about the bits or saddles would suggest to me that they arent intended for actual horsey-types to buy.
