Hoof pick

This morning I would just have liked a hoof pick of any description. The goblins have been out again.

I had 8 of various types when I moved yards last Aug. They have all been eaten.

Without, and this variety only.

I find the other ones quickly bend and don't allow me to get the leverage I need to get any stubborn stones etc out.

I do have some of the more modern ergonomic handled ones but prefer the above. I did see one made from an old horse shoe which looked fantastic but i wasn't sure how comfortable it would be to hold etc.

we live in an area with sandy soil so a pick gets any clumps of dirt but a brush clears the finer bits of dirt. I like the brush for the unshod rear feet.

With. I have one that has both a wire brush and a standard brush on the handle and that's fab.

The HAAS ones are quite good, they look sharp but are square ended like a standard metal hoofpick just a bit narrower and its very handy
