Anybody used these? I need to start soaking my boy's feet again, but simply don't have the time for the extended soaks, as he moves around in the knee length soaking boots I currently have. Thinking of trying these, then I can just leave him be whilst I poo pick and so on. The knee length ones drop down if he so much as lifts a hoof, so I literally have to sit there!

Well they say you never stop learning with horses. This is certainly a new one on me.
I had no idea such a product existed. Why do you have to soak his feet, I'm really curious now? Is it like a poultice boot?

He has deep seated thrush, metabolic related, so we'll always have to soak at least once a month or so. Yes, it's marketed as a soaking/poultice boot. I looked at the product website and they also have pads and show it being used with shod horses. Shame the sole is not more durable/grippy. Looks like a really easy boot to apply and would be great for turnout with green clay in it to stop the eedjit from walking through his own poop.

They come up very small IME.

what do you soak with weekly?

I have the tall soaking boots but only use for cleantrax soaking which needs lots of water.

have you tried putting full size travel boots over the tall soaking boot you are using?

another thought is hoof armor? It’s anti microbial snd creates a barrier.

Sounds weird, but can you soak a nappy and wrap round the hoof? I use a nappy to cover poulticing when its dry obviously but if you soaked the main part you could velcro the tabs round the hoof quite tight so the sole would be surrounded by the damp?
