My mare was diagnosed with laminitis back last June. Xrays showed rotation and sinking of pedal bones in both fronts and she has been on box rest since. Remedial farrier and vet were out yesterday and pleased that she continues to improve, but both advised to give her a hoof supplement. Unfortunately I wasn't at the yard at the time and my daughter who was there never thought to ask for their recommendations. I like the sound of Formula 4 Feet but has anyone used this and can give me some feedback, or any other recommendations for a good hoof supplement?

It might help if you knew what the supplement was designed to provide? Is this Biotin only or something more?

Her feet are very dry, flakey and crumbly and just in need of additional help. She only has soaked hay at present so gets a multi vit/min supplement. Looking for something that will help her hooves grow through strong and healthy.

Then any of the ones ester suggested. I'd be thinking about a way to get protein in as well without upsetting the lammi. They do need protein to grow good feet. Maybe a small amount of linseed if her weight isnt an issue now?

There is usually no need to provide biotin to an otherwise healthy horse

Not all vit/min supplements are equal ;)

She is only on soaked hay, and two very small feeds a day of fast fibre and top chop zero to get her meds and supplements into her. Would she get what she needs from this?

I had an ISH with poor hoof growth and quality. I originally put him on Farrier's Formula but as he was 17hh and over 700kg it was just too expensive long term although it really did work. I put him on Science Suppliments 4Feet which worked just as well but cost £40 for 5 to 6 months worth.
