Recommendations please for hoof supplements. I was thinking of trying Farriers Formula, but have recently heard of NAF Pro-feet. Has anyone any experience of using either of these?
Any other recommendations? Thanks.

I use Farriers Formula for mine and they do seem a lot better and have not been brittle this summer as yet (normally they crumble rather a lot). Our vet did comment when he last came out that FF was the best to use.

Im using formula 4 feet, as I understand it is a very good one and if you get it from ebay a seller called pre-equestrian you can get a big bag for £70 which is really good!!! In 6 weeks it has mage my horses feet really grow!!!

I use Pro Feet and I think it's fantastic. I've used it in Athena's feed for about 2 years now and I can't see myself changing to anything else

Equimins Biotin did a fantastic job with my mare's crappy feet.
They do a stronger version too if you have bad problems.

Another vote for Forumla 4 Feet here!! It also had other nutrients in so is great for feet and general other things too

I've used Farriers Formula for 2 yrs+ on my horses feet. He's always had problems with vertical cracks, which end up opening up and looking very unsightly (superficial). He also pulls front shoes off for fun. Since being on FF he still has the cracks but they don't open up, and despite him sometimes ending up with more nail holes than hoof due to having shoes put back on, he never has a problem with crumbling at the bottom so the horn must be strong. I don't think it makes them grow any faster so it depends if that's waht you want.
