Hoof Supplements

OK C has terrible feet due to neglect when I got her last year. Ive had several farriers who have done nothing to help them.

Ive finally found a good farrier who has trimmed them right back and dug out the huge crack she had growing.

Anyway at the moment shes on Farriers formula and black sunflower seeds once a day with her feed. Is there anything else I can give her to help the feet to grow?.

Apparently one of my farriers other clients had her horse on a feed that was about £30 a bag which has been amazing but he cant remember what it was called.

I use Formula 4 Feet which I think is great but probably not a lot different from Farriers Formula.

I would stop the Farriers Formula and use Formula4Feet. Absolutely brilliant, quick results, reasonable price and horses seem to love the taste! Have used it on a horse I used to own and many horses at the yard where I work with great success. Also recommend Effol hoof ointment applied once a day.

Another one for Formula 4 Feet. Has worked wonders on my TB's feet in 3 months. Also hoof disinfectant is really good for crumply feet, helps kill off all the bacteria breaking the foot up.

Top Spec? That's what my Equine Podiatrist recommends above any of the specific hoof supplements. It has the benefit of providing a complete spectrum of essential nutrients.

Forumla 4 Feet. Only supplement that I have used that has actually worked!

Topspec has helped my horses feet alot to along with the cornecresin products. But I am now using the Kevin Bacon oil which so far I am very pleased with. His shoes are due in a week and they are still firmly on with no scary cracks which used to be the story.

Topspec and Kevin Bacon or if you can get it, oakwood Hoof moisturiser is what has worked fo my horse!!

I use Dengie Healthy Hooves ! brill stuff cant rate it enough !

It may be top Spec I will have to ring him and ask although Im sure he said it was by Spillers or something like that.

The farriers formual and sunflower seeds do seem to be working I just want to help the growth along.

I normally use Effol too but cant use it on the front as it makes her plastic shoes come off.
