Just noticed the first signs of thrush in all hooves. He is kept out 24/7 on ground that is a mix of boggy and dry. Will continue to pick feet out everyday but what else can I do?

Milton fluid (or Tesco) dilute 1:10 and spray the feet daily for a minute each until it's cleared up

ACV can be used as a preventative - dilute 1:10 and spray in the same way

Like any problems with the feet it is almost always down to diet. A weak foot caused by too much sugar/starch in the diet is an open invitation for bacteria or fungus to attack. An increase in thrush at this time of the year is common because of the spring grass - sugar rush = inflammed feet = feet get structurally weaker = nasties take advantage. You can treat the symtoms with purple spray or apple cider vinegar (what I'd recommend) but you should also look at the cause - if he's on a lot of grass try restricting his grazing (strip or track graze or bring in during the day out at night). Also look at his hard feed and remove anything that contains molasses. Taking a two pronged approach will clear up the thrush and ensure it doesn't return.
