Hoof treatment for showing

Hi, I am looking for recent experience with the correct treatment of hooves when showing. I am not a fan of the all black look, so looking for other recommendations, if there are any? Has anyone tried a more subtle colouring on the hooves other than hoof oil (which is not attractive on a hoof that has some 'white' on it).

A wipe over with baby oil will give a shine to a healthy hoof.

My grey cob had black hooves and one striped, I used clear oil or Supreme clear gloss, it looked so much better than black. My baby coloured cob has white legs and white hooves, I use hoof oil as anything else would look ridiculous.

i use clear gloss as well on a horse with mixed coloured hooves. He’s bay but has two pale hooves and black looks wrong.
