Hoof trouble

My horse has recently developed cracks in his hooves due to shoes being left on to long (another story !) Anyway just wondering does anybody know of any products that I could rub on them to make them stronger and reduce the cracks?

Feeding biotin is good for hooves and I have found cornucrescine is good to apply to the hoof.

Forget biotin or any topical treatment and buy a good hoof suppliment. Search the barefoot threads for tips on diet and suppliments. You need to build the hoof from within.
