My horse has just suffered his first bout of laminitis. My vet has recommended putting him on a supplement to help his feet recover and she suggested Hoofmaker.

On searching the web I found the both the information on Hoofmaker and also on Formula4 Feet. Has anyone used either of these supplements and do you have any recommendations???

I am swaying towards Formula4 Feet as it seems to not only cover the feet aspect but also as a general vit/mineral supplement for ongoing use. I welcome any comments from anyone who has used either!

Could you give a few more details on breed, type, age, previous history, where grazed, grass, condition, exercise regime, there are quite a few variables. Is she stabled, shod, trimmed, acute or chronic, pain relief, vets opinion.
Feed and supplementations are two aspects to look at, unfortunately no magic potion is available.
