Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a wonderful day!

My name is Tristan McCall, I represent a group of final year business students in Dublin City University, Ireland. We have been tasked with creating a hypothetical new product as part of our New Enterprise Development module. We are exploring the feasibility of creating a new product for the horse sport industry, and have been tasked with researching the market via surveys and interviews.

In particular, we want to know riders' preferences and opinions about horseshoes, hoofboots, studs and barefoot riding and competing.

For that reason, I thought it best to ask the Horse and Hound Forums to participate in our survey and larger discussion here on the thread! You can take the survey at https://dcubusinessschool.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0CerJ0ij7sFKCrQ

The survey is only 3 minutes long (no lie, I timed it!), and is completely anonymous also. We hope you will consider completing it for us!

And we would be delighted if you could discuss in the thread below your feelings and issues encountered horseshoes, hoofboots, studs and barefoot riding, particularly regarding competition in any discipline.

Thank you very much for reading this message. We are excitedly anticipating your responses on the survey and in the thread!

Kindest regards,
Tristan McCall

You've already posted this in Tack Room, which tbh gets the most traffic and is probably the best place for it. Please don't spam the forum by posting it on multiple boards - it's against the forum terms.

Posters are also identifying problems in being able to accurately answer questions, so best keep it all on one thread so that people can keep up as you amend it :).

Sure thing Tiddlypom! Thanks for the heads up, I'll refrain from posting elsewhere, and to keep the discussion in the same thread! I'm editing the survey as we speak! Thanks again!
