My new hat has arrived! And it FITS!!!
It may seem totally pointless to make a whole post about a hat being delivered, but I first ordered it weeks ago and because I haven't ridden in years (until a few weeks ago) I'd forgotten what size my old hat was, so I measured my head with a tape-measure and ordered a 60cm hat. When it arrived I tried it on and it literally just perched on top of my head - it was way too small, so I sent it back (at a postage cost of £4!) and ordered a 61cm instead. When that one arrived it was too small too, so I had to send it back again and get the 62cm (another £4 postage). But this one finally fits! Never mind that my hat which was meant to cost £20 has ended up being £28, at least I have a hat now! Although it is so huge it makes me look like a mushroom... damn my big head.
