After an awful weekend saying goodbye to my old pony last week, I decided to live for the moment and take Milly, who is in the process of being reschooled after being used as a broodmare, for a hack this morning, for the first time since she has come back in to work.
Got to the yard for 6.45 to meet by friend, luncheg her for 10 mins first, the hopped on and went off with my friend and her mare who is Milly's field chum. I am so pleased as she ws a complete angel. We passed balloons, barking dogs and a huge articulated lorry rattled by and she did not bat an eyelid. So proud of her! she really seemed to enjoy it. She is having some physio work on her back and the vet has advised lots of hacking so i think we are going to have fun!
Bit of a pointless post but i am so chuffed and my hubby just doesn't get it!!
