Hi everyone,

I am after anyone who knows the people at Hope Stud in Wales, or knows of them etc. I have a lovely 2 yo coloured filly from Hope Stud originally, and am planning on putting her on Horsequest tonight for sale, but there is no sire on her passport.

I have written to the people at the stud ages ago, and have not had a reply. (Maybe they speak Welsh?)

There is one coloured stallion on their websire called Hope King, and I am interested to know if that would be her sire, or if they use other stallions too?

I have seen there is another older coloured filly on Horsequest already from Hope Stud, and to save any confusion, this one is not mine, just a coincidence! (It could well be my filly's older sister but I can't know for sure as I do not know the sire of my filly, just that he was a coloured traditional).

Sorry for long post, any info appreciated.

Hiya, yes this is the stud. I just can't work out from the website if they only use their stallion, or others too. I have written to the stud to ask them, but they never replied.

I know of the Hope Stud as I've been shopping around for a section a and I know that they do breed coloureds (and shetlands!) I'm not sure about their breeding policy with the coloureds though. Perhaps if you gave them a ring they would be able to help you- they seem like nice friendly people.
