Hope they catch them……🤬

Poor foal 😥 tbh even if they do catch them, I have no faith in the so called justice system… a slap on the wrist is all a horse’s life is usually worth to the law ☹️

I've been following this as I lived next door to Port Meadow for ages. The horses arent particularly well looked after and just used to churn out cheap badly bred foals. And they live in a huge herd of about 30, always together. They see a lot of life and have a huge, huge acreage in summer. In winter they are stood in flood water filled with sewage most of the time. I am really struggling to believe that one decided to run off completely in the other direction to every other horse, leaving behind its large herd and that that's how this happened. And as these paragliders have been over more than once, that it only happened once.

It is very sad it happened and the paragliders are in breach of guidelines, so need to pack it in. But none of this remotely adds up if you've seen the horses day in day out through summer and winter.

And what they haven't said is there are photos of the paragliders directly over the herd while they continue grazing. They were put up in a small closed group and hastily removed.

Agree with ID, that field has flooded before now and horses just left on tiny patch of land with no hay/water, I highly doubt they even get daily checks let alone more often than that
