I did a naughty thing last night and despite the websites saying that if Hope has Wobblers she should be kept in,I put her in my menage for a couple hours.
I wanted to keep her away from the others coz of her coming from sales and coz the older girls are bullies.
She looked so much better for it that I left her out all night. This morning she can walk, full action on 1 rear leg, slightly pigeon toed and a bit of a rolling action, but no longer dragging toes.; The leg on the wasted side if still a bit all over the place but more in a lame way than plain wobbly.
She can walk over a pole on the ground without forgetting her back end too and trots up lame rather than crippled.
I'm just off to sort her a bit of electric fence in the garden so she can have some grass, then I guess I ought to revise for my exams!!
Oh, and V naughty, I slipped a bute in her breakfast, (suggested by instructer, so not that naughty!!) can't get my vet out today as not emergency, but if bute helps, it's not wobblers as bute does not affect neuro stuff, simple!!! If it helps I'll just have to keep her quiet so she doesn't make whatever it is worse but at least it'l give me a clue.
Phone consult with vet at 5pmish.
Thanks for every1's concern, had some really helpful suggestions too.
I'll let u know what vet says.
