Good evening we are hoping to build a 25 x 40 Arena subject to obtaining planning permission. Does anyone have any recommendations for companies/contractors that would be able to take on the job? We have so far been quoted £57k plus vat which does seem a lot! We are based in Northamptonshire...thank you.

Charles Britton. My sand and rubber 40m x 20m CB arena is now 11 years old and performs faultlessly. When scouting out companies to use, CB sent me a list of existing arenas in my area that were up to 20 years old that the owners were happy for me to check out. All good. Never heard of a CB horror story.

Plus, CB put the planning through as part of the installation.

Mind you, I don't know how much they charge these days ?. But pay well, pay once was our motto despite us not being rolling in dosh. There are/were a lot of sharks out there building bad arenas.

We just put a 20 60 down and it cost us 60k in stone surface and stuff we didnt include labour in that as we and our team did the work. We didn’t skimp on anything so it probably is a little over engineered but 57k done seems reasonable for a good job tbh.
