going there for the first time on thursday for a bit of schooling, anyone been before? is it as good as the pictures on there website look? really looking forward to going somewhere else other than tweseldown which is getting rather boring now.

It is really good there, the water complex is brill with lots of options in and out. I've not been since they closed it about a year ago for improvement, but it had a fair range of jumps then so I imagine it has only got better. Well worth the trip.

oh thats a shame, looks really good on there website, is there enough to warrant travelling from brighton with a novice horse or would i be better to stick to tweseldown???

Basically there's 2 fields- one big main field which has everything but most of it is pretty small (up to intro) there's a few bigger fences in that field, a nice corner, a couple of slightly bigger trakehners, a couple of decent sized houses and a pheasant feeder but thats about it. There are some good water combinations, suitable for novice/intermediates including a nice bounce in and a corner in the water.
The other field has the bigger jumps but theyre not set out quite right to enable you to string anything together.

I wouldnt travel that far but if you dont have anywhere closer, give it a go!

Personally i'd go to Tweseldown, I'm off there on saturday for a play
