I've had my mare on eCalm for a few months now and it seems to be helping with her excessively alert behaviour/spooking. She does still seem to vary in a cycle though so I'm considering using a hormonal supplement too. Does anyone else do this? A friend recommended 'Sassy Mare' that she uses successfully with one of her mares. Any reviews of that one or recommendations for others?
Thanks!

I’ve found that any supplement which includes St. John’s Wort, known for antidepressant/anti anxiety effects in humans, helps with hormonal, stressy mares.

Can’t say that I’ve had much luck with anything else.

My mare reacts to some of the GABA agonist that were in the stroppy mare which did work but she got more spooky. I switch the Balanced Mare and found her much better
