My friend used Oestress for her stroppy mare, it was fab stuff and actually did work (if she ran out of a tub she'd get worse)! I think it's a bit trial and error with supplements though, what works for one may not for another - especially where behaviour is concerned (eg. calmers and mare supplements).

May is on Hormonal Mare, but it does'nt seem to be having an effect any more :-( so I just bought some 'slut Mix'!! will see how we go. If not, going to speak to the vet about getting the Marble.

well the one i (and someone else) recommended on stable yard didn't make it on to your poll but i think its good anyway.(Hormonise - it is maybe not as well known as some of those on your poll)
However I would agee with Silmarillion that mares are all different and what works with one might not with another.

Oestress is working extremely well on my 6 year old mare. When in season (all the time) she was impossible and wouldnt concentrate and was really bolshy and just had sex on the brain. Now she is much better, a nicer person and a lot more relaxed - only down side is the price! As I half expected it not to work (If that makes sense!!!)
