Has anyone had any experience of which they find best?

I have a mare who is very excitable and can get tense so going to try one of these to see if it can chill her out a bit.

Thanks,

Is she excitable all the time or just when she's in season? If she's like that all the time a magnesium based calmer might be worth a try. I use hormonise on my mare but she gets uncomfortable and nappy when in season rather than excitable, so I can't say whether it would help with your particular problem.

It's difficult to tell when she's in season, she went to stud last year and they had trouble getting her into season there.

She's quite a hot mare, but usually after being warmed up she settles and goes well. Although at times (like tonight) she just won't settle and relax and spends the whole time being tense and not moving forward from the leg.
Also in the show ring she loves it so much she just boils over there (she's had 2 years off from it while we tried to breed from her) but at her first outing a month ago she boiled over for her individual show.

I've seen some good reviews about NAF magic, so thinking I may try that now.

I like the NAF products, Oestress works for my mare so I guess the Magic will be just as good. Its only £20 a tub so reasonably priced too.
