Does anyone have any good experiences of using Hormonise? (Liquid feed supplement). I had read it was great for halting the growth of sarcoids as well as making snappy mares angelic ladies!

I have been feeding Hormonise since November and have noticed no improvement to my mares moods at all (still biting and kicking like a good stroppy old b***h) but, there has been no marked growth in her sarcoids, but then again that could be because its the winter- they seem to be more aggressive over the summer months.

Thanks

I read on their website that people had found that by adding Hormonise supplement the growth of sarcoids slowed down or even stopped.

I read this on the net and this information is on the manufacturer's website: www.equinatural.com

"Hormonise has been successful in shrinking non-cancerous tumors and cysts throughout the body."

It also helps with Cushings
" our Hormonise the original Hormonise contributes to the relief of CUSHINGS SYNDROME with no evidence of side effects and assists in the shedding of unwanted hair."

Ideally you need to use a supplement that builds up their immune system!!i.e:Hilton herbs equimmune(very effective, used it for my lads and it shrivelled them right up)however....it is not cheap and you need to make sure you can afford to keep her on it until they have cleared completely(i couldnt unfortunately, especially with the good results i got, ended up down the liverpool cream route!!)As for stroppy have no clue, lol, have a gelding!!

hadfos: do you know if all vets have access to liverpool cream? I use a well known equestrian vets and they were dismissive of cream treatment and instead want to cut them out. I'd love to try some.......think i'll try another vet!

Yes they should have, all they need to do is get in touch with liverpool university, send pictures of the sarcoids and they decides on how much, how long etc(i told my vet that is what i wanted!!

I would steer well clear of cutting them out!!!
If you change vets and go with the liverpool treatment try go with a herbal supplement to boost the immune system at the same time,or wk or so before treatment!!I claimed on the insurance for mine and now written off but it only cost £400 for treatment, call outs and herbal stuff, not a bad price i thought!!
