Lastnight I dreamt spud had to be put down and when he was he was put into a bucket. By the time I got to the yard (even though I had been at the yard for the pts but was then suddenly driving to it?!) he had been placed in a red bucket with just his little feetsies poking out poor boy. He was buried in the back of a lorry. Hah!

so even though I knew he was alive today I felt anxious until I saw him and had to buy him a rug to cheer myself up.

in other news my little mare started metformin a few days ago and though I never really felt she had any lethargy this morning she was a kid after a birthday party and for the first time ever she had left hay and didn’t finish her breakfast. She could barely contain herself in the field and ran about whinnying and squeaking in between buckfarts.

I have has some dreadful dreams too. Both my OH and I had a nasty and long lasting cough/sort of cold bug and during that we were complaining of these very strong dreams.

Sometimes even unreasonable dreams can feel so real. I think recently I have been having really vivid crazy dreams as I’m not physically tired enough due to lock down so I’m sleeping quite lightly and my mind isn’t busy resting and repairing but rather concurring up random scenarios. Despite feeling emotionally exhausted a lot of the time...

Just hug him a little tighter today!

I don't usually dream but can have some proper bizarre ones when stressy. It's worse when someone has upset me/had an argument with me in a dream and I am automatically grumpy at them!
This week my trellis got stolen, the made to measure heavily bolted to the wall trellis. . . and I did just take a peek out of the window to check...

I had a Horrible dream that I found my mare with 4 broken legs half way up a very steep hill in a field she had been trying so hard to get up it the soil was all dug out deep and her legs broke. It Was awful. The Next day she was Rushed to vet for 15 stitches in her back leg so a bit of a weird premonition

The meds I'm on give me very strong, vivid dreams, sometimes I'd even describe them as nearing lucid. Great when they're good dreams, horrific if they're nightmares!
My most recent horsey-related dream was me having a lesson on my late mare, jumping and all sorts, stuff we never really did. It was a really pleasant dream!
Another one which I'm not sure is a nightmare or not, is turning up at the yard to find that my skewbald mare had given birth to twin chestnut foals with no warning! God forbid if that ever happens in real life.

I’m 7.5 months pregnant and have had the wildest dreams throughout pregnancy and an uncanny ability to remember them.

Last night, I dreamt someone dropped a bale on our dog from a skid steer and broke his back. Woke up in an absolute panic at about 3 am. Fell asleep again and dreamt my horse nearly gouged one of his eyes out and somehow got his foot stuck in my cowboy boot and when I pulled boot off, his hoof was all misshapen. Woke up in another panic.

Equi, I think your dream triggered a bad one for me last night. Dreamt my young dog had died and I was trying to let people know about it. Woke up feeling dreadful. Very relieved to find both dogs ok this morning.

I think we are sub-consciously stressing - not surprising it is coming out in the weirdest dreams. And not helped by the news channels only focusing on the dire and dreadful. I have stopped watching in the evenings.

I had a dream( before lockdown) about a dog of mine that died around 10 years ago. In the dream I walked across a farmyard and as I walked by a small, deep water trough there was my dog floating in the half full trough. I seemed to just freeze and stare at him, I was thinking why is he floating here when he has been dead for years. Then I rushed to get him out and woke up. I have no idea of where it all came from.

A chap i worked with had heart problems and had heart surgery and went on warfarin medication and said since taking it he’d experienced terrifying Nightmares. I was amazed something like that would cause dreams to change.

Lastnight it was the turn of my little mare to have a dramatic night! She had colic and when the vet came out she was able to pull a full duffel bag, a crocodile handbag, a length of white pipe and a wooden dildo out of her nostrils. Those damn walkers had fly tipped it all into her feed bucket!!!
