I just found out that my childhood jumping instructor has just lost 6 of his best horses in a fire.

He was on his way back from winning a Grand Prix when he had a blow out in the lorry which caught fire. They were only able to get out 2 of the 8 horses out. I can't even start to imagine how devastating that must have been. Being able to hear the screams of terror of the horses and being absolutely helpless.

A very sad day indeed! :-(

That has just sent horrible shivers down my spine. Feel so sad. Terrible experience, no words.
Just hope it was quick.

RIP horses.

God, that's just knocked me sick. I can't imagine how horrific that would have been for all involved. Rest in peace now poor horses xx
