Horrible ppl on the yard

Im on a livery Diy yard and have been for years.
There are 2 ppl on the yard who no one likes as they seem to make a hobby out of make ppl hate them, they are rude and bitchy and think they know it all. May ppl have complained beacuse they are dangerous when riding and annoy everyone.
How do you deal with ppl like this?
Its got to the point where I still get nervous riding when they are about not because am novice but beacuse of the bitchyness, it does my head in. everyone else acts like were one big family where we all help each other and get along but its just them.
could we sign like a petirtion to get them off the yard or what would you guys do?
 
We have a bitchy clique also who are besties with the YM, I had to speak to her the other day about something and all I could hear were their bitchy comments about what I was asking.
Ignore them - if they have such sad and pathetic lives that they have nothing better to do than bitch, let them do it, feeling good in the knowledge that you are a better and more rounded person than they can ever hope to be.

Horses are a hobby to relax with and enjoy, not worry about who's at the yard when you turn up.
 
But the yard am at is the best in the area it has everyting.
No one person would make a complaint about them so once a few ppl are moaning I think well go the YO. The other week one of them were riding in school and they go crazy like galloping around and almost collided with my freinds little girl on her Pony! thats how bad they are they act like they own the place!

OMG I feel for you, I cannot tell you how many times this has happened to me and friends. You can keep yourself to yourself or be social but there is always one whom starts! Why oh why that when a group of people whom are supposed to love a common interest have to be horrid.
You have to be really careful.....Is your Yo nice and or professional
Go as a group to the YO explain your issues or go in twos,
Ask for a yard meeting.
Just make super sure you are not being sensitive (please don’t think I am trying to be mean but really try to make a no bias view on the situation)
Petitions are usually bad they tend to bite you back in the bum!!!
I have had it all even a woman kicking off because my horse kept looking at her...honest! But funny though when the YO and the woman approached me about this I had had enough told them I was handing in my notice without loosing my rag, the woman asked me again so I then told her to wait while I got a black couch and laid my horse on it and asked him why he kept looking at her. Went down like a lead balloon LOL.
 
Well Ive been there since I was at school now am 22.Have left a few times die to work and been back now for 3 or so years and they have gotton on my last neve again! So many arguements have kicked off and they always involve them. Something needs to be said but it is getting the right approach.
Its them against the other 20 of us, its really quiet sad.
 
aw bless not to bad thank you, I dont know if ill get the money or not yet but the meeting I think went fairly well, My dad has lent me the cash so hes paying for her today and If I dont get it ill pay him back in instalments. Bless him
Should get her mid week so Ill be posting pics soon, ill be a proud mum once again lol
 
thats great news for you, even though they occasionally drive u mad u do miss not having them.

mine managed to smack in the head yesterday whilst on her and i bit my lip, so i guess in hindsight was my fault lol.

def have to post piccys when you get her fingers crossed for insurance paying out they should.
 
How old are these people?

Sorry but I wouldnt be standing for it...but than again I am pushing 40 and I am more than capable of standing up for myself...and others....especially if the old hormones are playing up

If there are 20 of you and 2 of them how come you lot are not able to make them feel uncomfotable with the they way they are acting?

Tell you what, if someone almost crashed into my daughter when she was riding becasue they were galloping about and being stupid I would make my feelings absolutely crystal clear...they would be in doubt where istood on the issue, believe me.

You shouldnt have to put with it...you pay money to YO for her to sort this type of stuff out. Good luck...want me to come and sort 'em for you?

Can you book the school for your use only...
Why dont you approach the YO and just say sorry I dont want to complain but there could be problems if this is not sorted out soon explain what happened in the arena play the innosent card. Tell her other ppl feel the same you may find out though that some of the complainers will be spineless when approached.
I know there is YO's that will say "well you know what you can do".
Bite the bullet take someone with you.
What about writing a letter be nice but get every one to sign it try not to make it a witch hunt......

They are last 30's early 40's and nasty spitefull ppl they stole some of my tack once I couldnt prove it was them but I am certain as it turned up in the bin then I got it back then went missing again! but I couldnt prove anything.!
I wish someone would come and sort them out. No matter what anyone says it like water of a ducks back to them!then next thing I see or hear Ill go nuts espically as my new mare is very green and can be spooked in the school anything upsets her I go belistic!
 
lol. I would square up to them but one of them is like 10times the size of me lol and Am to scared to loose my stuff so the only option is to talk to the Yo to see if shell do anything
 
yes she very lovely but at the end of the day shes a business woman so she needs to keep liveries so am hoping loosing 2 would be better than making 20more misserable and risk loosing them to
 
Yea hopefully I dont want to be mean and be the reason they have to leave but its been 8 years and nothing has changed and its not just me they piss off.
