Well I lunged him yesterday and it was a pleasure. He was as good as gold. Managed a full 20 mins doing as he was told :p:D:D:D Then today as it wasn't raining this morning I took him out for a quick hack. Again he was a star. We walked, trotted and cantered arond the forest for 45mins. :D We even saw those anoying wild ponies (I'm shore they are stalking me:rolleyes:) and he didn't even think about napping. He just looked in there direction then carried on walking where I wanted him to go. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D Whoop whoop I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo proud of him. He's becoming such a pleasure to ride and be around. After our hack I poo picked his field and he followed me round and kept asking for cuddles and kisses :eek: :D :D He's so cute sometimes. Anyway I think maybe I feel bravenough to stop calling him Horrid all the time so he needs a new name. There have been some sugestions in other threads I have done but I can't deside which one is best so hopefully there is a poll attached to this thread (if I have done it right :o) Please vote for the name you like. :D:D:D
 
Hopefully the polls there now. It posted the post then asked me to do the poll and it took me ages :o I'm rubbish with computers LOL.

Kenzo He'll still be Herbie just though Horrid Herbie was a bit mean on him now. Although he will prob still be called it if he is naughty. :p;):D

I wish I could bottle whatever has made him behave. I'd call it
"Horrid no more" :D
 
Another vote for keeping Horrid Herbie! It reminds me of one of those cheeky cartoon ponies, that always gets into trouble but has a heart of gold :)

Glad to hear he's going so well :D
 
Don't change it you might jinx him!!!

Imagine if you called him Heavenly Herbie and he started being naughty again!

I like Horrid Herbie, it reminds me of the My Naughty Little Sister books, where My Naughty Little Sister had a friend called Bad Harry.

That way ( in the words of the rhyme) when he is good he is very very good and when he is bad he is horrid!
 
How about Love Bug and keeping his stable name as Herbie.

Do you remember the Herbie movies about the VW beetle. He was Herbie the Love Bug.

Just an idea.
 
Thanks everyone. It's looking like he may be staying as Horrid Herbie. Kenzo you may get your wish as That still has the most votes. :o

His reg show name is Herbie forest fox. So that can't change it's just what I call him at home when Herbie just isn't enough (also what I call him on here LOL)
