Horsatack.. MK

Its OK, didn't find staff particularly helpful or knowledgeable though, but didnt stop me going back.

Fab prices and lots of different ranges to choose from.

Staff dont seem to know much about the equine world, as my friend found out first hand. She went to get a hat fitted and the girl thought that if is was soooo tight it squeezed her brains from her ears it fitted her well.

We proceeded on to asking if the hat fitter had ridden/wore a riding hat before, she hadnt, so she didnt get the hat!

It's ok for stuff that doesn't need fitting or advice. They do have plenty of basically priced ranges, but item for item I didn't find them any cheaper than RB. Staff haven't got a clue & not good if you need to return something that doesn't fit (as my friend found out!). I go there if I need just need something like a lead rope in a hurry as it's only 5 mins walk from work, but if I need a few things or am getting feed or need advice then I go to RB. I decided that long term it's in my interests for RB to have my business & be there for the umpteen times I need to talk to someone who knows what type I mean by a cob!

I love the place.
I found the staff good, so must be going on different days to everyone here!
Prices better than RB on the same products.
Generally a good place.

its a franchise from weathabeeta
not a bad shop but i spent ages in there trying boots on and it is very much a self service shop as none of the staff came over or offered a hand!!!
the range isnt bad but its all weathabeeta or the brands they own
there loyalty card looks good and they send you vouchers even now and then.... but the vouchers are item specific and the last lot i got had a one week expiry (items on vouchers were nothin i would buy)
its not bad and i think it is worth a look but i wouldnt go there for advice!!!!

I like the place and have always found the staff knowledgeable and very helpful. Good range of products and decent prices. My friend bought a saddle there last week and the staff really helpful and were quite happy to put as many saddles on STU (the mechanical horse) as we wanted to try, and i think the no interest finance they offer is great too!

Now that's something I don't get. How can you "fit" a saddle on a pretend horse that you then take home & put on a real horse. Or am I just being thick?
