I've just seen an advert on our local tack shop's board for horse agility classes. Many years ago I had a go at dog agility and gave up to dog being too lazy...

But I have a manic section A which is too forward going for my little one to ride off the lead rein and could definitely do with some more exercise... (and I can't find a jockey for him atm) I was considering having him broken to drive in the spring but thought this might be fun over the winter... does any one do it ? or know anything about it cos it looks totally mental on you tube...

If you go to the Intelligent Horsemanship website, someone was enquiring about this last week, so quite recent. There was a lot of very useful information about how to start from scratch. I think a quick clever pony would be ideal. It would occupy his mind and it would be a very good training exercise too.

Have you seen the videos on the Horse Agility website. Stare in wonder - just how to they get to do that? It is just like dog agility, including a tunnel and jumping onto a top and being still and going over bridges. These must be the very best ones of course!
