I brought my horse (cob) from the field and she started to shiver and ever since has been extremely agitated. What could it be?
I haven’t checked her temp because I couldn’t get her to stay still. She has eaten and pooped but still seems a little agitated. I can’t decide if it’s the wind that is winding her up or not.Have you checked her temp ? Is she
Clipped
Ect ? Eating everything else normal ? It’s been very wet but not cold here , how is she now ?
She was fairly wet! I brought her in, dried her and put her fleece on her and she just suddenly became agitated which she wasn’t in the field. It had taken quite a while to get her calmer and it’s not like her!Was she wet through?
My old boy always used to shiver when it was wet and windy (even if it was warm) partially this time of year when he did not yet have a winter coat. He was a native too! He would also be very cross about it
My new tbX much tougher![]()
