My ISH x Connemara - have managed to trace the ISH side!

My boy:

Cavalier Two for Joy (Daddy) He is the spitting image!!

Cavalier Royale (Grandad) This horse is a warmblood!

My boy has a brother on the yard and they don't even look like the same breed, let alone related!! I wish I could find a photo of his dam, because he doesn't look much like his sire either.

My boy's breeding isn't recorded (he has a white Irish Horse Register passport), but someone has written on the flyleaf that he's by Imperial Heights (ISH by Master Imp out of a Clover Hill mare) and his dam was by Mourne Mountain Star (RID). Not sure if that can be trusted as far as a breeding record goes - although he was bred in Co. Monaghan, which is where Imperial Heights is at stud - but this is apparently his sire:
