Is there going to be a time when you will stop distrubuting the Queen Ethelburga's leaflets and the E&L insurance leaflets in every single magazine as you have been doing for the last 10 years or so?

We are all getting totally sick of the sight of them!! Such a waste of paper!

I agree - but I have perfected the technique of picking up the magazine in the shop, shaking it to remove all unwanted leaflets, then going to pay for it

I did!

One of the girls that I went to uni with went there - we always used to call her Queenie and she came across as very snotty *no offense if she reads this forum*

I use to teach in the equine department. I wouldn't send a child of mine there if I had any! Lovely set up but totally run wrong!
 
I nearly went there, then decided millfield or whatever as its closer...but both had like 18month waiting lists so i'd only have (this was a copel years ago) about 18months of school left by the time i gotthere, and no use going there for the college as im in the catchment area for one of the top 3 n the country so no point ^_^

Totally agree - what a waste of paper - I put them straight into the recycling and each time I do it it makes me mad. Wish their was an option to opt out of advertising leaflets so that I just got the magazine that I pay for and nothing else

From H&H's point of view they help pay the postage/distribution costs - like £50 per thousand or something, so their advertising dept will want more inserts not less.

But I've put up with 10yrs plus of bl**dy E&L leaflets, and numerous years of the Queenie one.... Does the horse still go free??
 
I guess the official line is that H&H do not endorse any advertiser in the magazine, they merely sell the space - and this contract is so huge it would be hard for them to give up.

Most good colleges, and insurance companies for that matter, sell on their reputations, so the fact that these advertise SO heavily suggests to me that they can't be much good.
