Who actually buys and reads H&H?

I read it but don't buy it!!! Friend buys it and when she has finished, passes it over fir me to read, in return, I pass her my Horse mag after I have finished with it.
 
I used to subscribe but actually don't like it much these days (too much tat and shopping nonsense) so buy rarely and read rarely. Tend to only buy if someone I know is in it :p

Same, I never buy horse magazines unless I know someone in them, though I spent ages in Milan looking for an Italian magazine which had an article about that scandinavian guy on yt who does extreme horse agility. Never did find it though :mad:

Used to be fervently buying it & down the papershop early Friday, then on a Thurs when publication date changed.
These days, cant think of the last time I brought it - prob just before we found another life during the last break-out of foot & mouth in Surrey a few year ago.

So, sorry H&H - its not a priority for me, even when buying Fuzzies

both heavy and undeserved IMO. Haha! It was my leaving do, I start my new job in 9 days woop woop!! However, I forgot that I am quite shite at drinking :( I also work in posh wine and unusual spirits shop at the moment, so am now surrounded by the stuff...


eta - in the lab? ooh What are you studying?

Haha that is unfortunate :D But you're meant to be "gazeboed" on your leaving night :D

I'm a molecular microbiologist, for my sins. Or at least, I'm writing up a PhD in it. And then I will no longer be one - I will be freeeeeeeeeeeee :D
 
I buy it and read it regularly in summer for the eventing reports or previews of big events. I never buy it in winter as I don't do hunting and so would only buy it if I was looking for a horse to buy.

Yes, very unfortunate! Haha! Oh gosh that sounds very complicated! I, too, would be procrastinating! Now get writing!!! :):)
 
I don't buy it. I read it though, every time I go to the supermarket. I usually go to the shops with my mum and my sister and they take bloomin ages, so I dissapear down the magasine isle and read it there while they finish there shop. :p
 
After having subscribed for years I have just let it expire. I was reading less and less of it each week, I got down to just reading the letters page, the horse ads and looking at the pics, just don't find it that interesting anymore and it seems to have got thinner and thinner so I decided it was a waste of money.
 
I used to have it on subscription but found the content became boring and I wasn't really reading it thoroughly enough to warrant the increasing costs. Haven't read it now for about 4 years.

I do buy local magazines sometimes, I like to know people in magazines, or of course be in them myself ;)
 
I used to subscribe when we competed, as did my best mate, but we both stopped when we stopped showing. I only buy it now for the big showing results, or if I flick through it in sains and something catches my eye. I do think the content has gone a little downhill over the past few years - at one time I couldn't wait for it to come through the door.

I look over the homepage of the website before I come in here, to keep up with the headlines. The only other time I definitely buy it is at Kings Cross, before I get on the train to Newcastle, to put me in the mood to do horse stuff whilst I'm up there! Then it goes to the aforementioned friend for her go. :)

I used to subscribe but cancelled as there were more adverts than articles and it seemed to be gettiing thinner every week.

Don't miss it at all.
