Horse and Rider Express??

Thanks Leflynn, they deny all knowledge of previous company, say that Horse and Rider express has ceased trading and only they are now at that unit?
Not entirely sure they were telling the truth but anyone waiting for an order-its not going to come!
Facebook page gone too now, alnog with almost £100 of my money :mad:
 
Does anyone local know if they are still selling saddlery/feed etc?
Rug wash people said that that business is no longer trading from that unit but not sure if I should believe that after Jack Jones post

interestingly five minutes after speaking to rug wash people got this email

"Dear Sir/Madam, it is with deep regret that we write this email, after our main website was severley hacked (no customers details were comprimised due to our high security level) it caused a deep strain on the business, It has battled for a long time to turn itself back around from this but unfortunatley has lost its battle and has now ceased trading. It has tried to complete as many orders as it could or refund customers in the time frame it was given, obviously once it had been confirmed that the business could no longer carry on we stopped taking further orders. If you have not received your product or a refund please raise a claim in pay pal or if you have paid via debit/credit card please contact your card issuser. All customers will be recieving an offical letter from a registered office regarding this. We are all devasted by what has happened to what was an outstanding business which has failed due to something as dreadful as been hacked. We fought to the very end and apologies sincerley for any inconvenience caused.

That doesn't surprise me :( I have so called vouchers and know the old owner by sight. I need some feed so might swing by. Odd how the old horse & rider used offer the same price rug washing and widely advertised that they were expanding that department but only doing online orders... It seems that the petexpress website they had also got 'hacked' too....

Trading standards suggested checking on the insolvency register, guess what they aren't on there! another lie.
Whats your local paper leflynn, think they might be interested in a local business lying to customers and ripping them off.

tbh its not the money now, its just they seem to think they can lie through their teeth and get away with it.
 
I had an issue with them last month, total nightmare!!!!!!!!!! I started a thread on them on here last month to warn people.

I ordered rugs and they kept telling me when i phoned they had dispatched them. But nothing! they kept telling me they would get someone to phone me but noone ever did. The rug still hasnt reached me.......over 2 months later!

Very odd company! scam I think.
 
Spanish neddy they have definitely gone bust, I had a call from an insolvency company.
You need to contact paypal or your credit card issuer and try and get a refund
I have the details for the insolvency company, you can pm me if you want them.
He tried to tell me what genuinely nice people they were and how sorry they were-Hm sure because genuinely nice people take orders with no intention of fulfilling them and lie through their teeth
 
Just for the record i did a drive past of horse and rider express or northern neds rugs this was yesterday they still have the horse and rider express signs up outside and the van with the livery on it intresting as i was passing the girl who worked the rug wash was outside hanging wet rugs on the security fence to dry

Its clear to see its a classic close down and open next day in new name
 
I called in there on Wednesday last week as I was passing and they still had the sign written van parked outside and had rugs hanging on the fence drying. When I entered the shop was completly empty of all stock and under going refurbishment/ refittment. The staff said they were expanding the rug washing side and the stock would be going back in ( a new counter with till etc had been put in the adjoining gap between the 2 units blocking one side off from the other ) and the store would be reopening next week.

My husband was in the compound today ( was at work and had to chk another unit ) and said the store was closed but there was bagged rugs in an open topped skip, he didnt know if they were being thrown out or being stored there- we had torrential rain and flooding yesterday, so goodness knows what condition they are now in.

Think I might call in on weds and have a nosy and see what is going on as has a greenguard grazing headcollar and muzzle in 2nd hand dept and have never heard if it sold or not or to collect it.
 
looks like they are up to their old tricks again, they sold a load of my used equipment on a commission basis, however I'm still waiting for my money :(
it appears that around 5 of my friends are also owed money, I reckon around 1k is owed out between the 5 of us!!!
had every excuse under the sun and now they are planning to drop the money off for me at work.....
watch this space!
