Horse approved beach near Herts?

I really want to go back riding on the beach with my horse as haven't been for nearly 2yrs but we have since moved yards and the nearest beach (as far as I can see) is West Wittering (2hrs away) I know there wont be any that local but less than 2hrs would be preferable. If anyone knows of one or one that is really worth the journey let me know thanks.

Holkham is a great beach but probably a good couple of hours. Unfortunately you are the farthest point away from the coast in all directions

I know :/ Holkham is 2.5 hourse away from us Wouldn't mind travelling distances but we use horse transport as no trailer or box atm so it just works out expensive for what it is

You aren't going to find anything much nearer as the previous poster said. You live a long way from the sea.

A few years ago three of us were going to go up and make a long weekend of it with our OH's. Holkham Hall hold gigs and festivals so thought it would be a nice break. We never actually got round to it though.....
