horse at rest

My horse likes to stand when hes snoozing resting one hind leg but pointing the diagonally opposite foreleg. He has no preference for resting either diagonal, seems to do both equally.
He is athletic, lively, has never shown any sign of lameness, no signs of pain anywhere and is happy to do everything with no 'grouching'. He is evenly muscled and the chiro says his back is fine. He certainly doesnt feel at all lame/uneven/stiff to ride.
He is 4 years old, and 17hh and is a bit weak and unco-ordinated but is muscling up well, although still weak over the topline. He has been broken 6 weeks but I have had him a year and he has always done it, being ridden (albeit gently at the moment) has made no difference.
Should I worry or is this a fairly normal way of resting?

Both of mine do it and have had full work ups due to my paranoia - nothing! I just compare it now to when we sit with our legs crossed - technically correct not to do it, but it just feels comfier.

It is worth getting it checked out for peace of mind

I would get it checked as that is a warning sign for a few ailments
What sort of ailments HGA-12? I have had a back lady and all is fine there. Its not like he's actually pointing a front foot to take the weight off, he rests a hind leg then kind of sticks the diagonally opposite front out to help with balance. He is still very narrow, and I was wondering if he was unstable as he's so tall (17hh) and still weak?

.ive been around horses for for over 50 years and that stance sounds pretty normal to me however if he was standing normally on the other 3 and pointing one, that could suggest a problem of front foot pain IMO.
