Horse attire for Local working hunter :-S

Hi i am competing in a working hunter class in a couple of weeks time and i am wondering what my horse is allowed to wear.
She currently wearing a flash and hunting breastplate with martingale attatchment, can i use these in the class? (The martingale is only needed for the jumping)
Also can i ride her in a pellham with double reins throughout or does it have to be a snaffle or double bridle job?
Oh and numnahs can i wear a white fur one or should i just go without (her saddle doesn't fit well and i currently lack sufficient funds to buy a new one )
Bearing in mind this is only a local shindig any helpful advice would be appreciated

Anything goes really, though if it came down to you and another horse for first place, the horse in traditional double bridle or pelham would probably win. We did a workers at the weekend and won the championship- the pic below shows what tack he had on

You can get away with any bit/bridle in a workers class, apart from a bitless bridle. In general though, the simplier the better. If you can get away with just a snaffle, then that's fantastic.

But, better to be in a stronger bit/noseband and perfectly behaved than a bit naughty in a snaffle!

As for your numnah, since it's local I don't think it'll matter too much

Sorry, I would be absolutely horrified if anyone came before me in a 3 ring gag whatever the level of show. Some form of simple snaffle, double if your horse goes well in one, rugby pelham, all these are fine. I would sooner see a horse go really well in a snaffle personally than be bitted up with more than it needs.

If your horse jumps in a martingale it must stay on for the show. If you use boots, they must come off. A brown numnah (as unobtrusive as possible) is correct, but at local level I wouldn't be too fussed.
