Has anyone been to any horse auctions lately, I was at Leominster yesterday and was really sad to see horses going for so little money, what do others think about this situation I wonder

Never been to an auction, but did go to a gypsy type Bring and buy sale just to see what it was like and how it works!
There were horses everywhere. Literally nearlly running you over! Also a foal tied to a lamp post With a sign saying 'win me' (yes a pony the prize off s raffle) !!!

We went to York Auction last month, there were very few sold anc the few that were went for very little. The exception was a lovely looking hunter which, IIRC, went for £2000.

I stopped going to any auctions about 10 yrs ago, so heartbreaking to see such alot of sad horses. Have bought quite a few but you can't save them all. Used to go to Henley, Abergavenny, Melton, Northampton.
