Horse Back Safari

I went a few years ago so probably not the same horses. I rode Tiamar (not sure about the spelling) & my friend rode Magnum. They were all lovely horses, bred for endurance & very well looked after.
Remembering that restaurant has been making me hungry all morning!
 
When I was out there i lived in my kerrits jhodpurs almost like leggins made of sporty material! And normal half chaps and I was out there from feb-may (pushing 40 during the day and 100% humidity) I was quite sweaty but fine!!
 
Thanks for all the posts :) think we have found some good places - what time of year did people go?

We are going in June but im worried its not going to be hot!?

Horseback safari? Sounds like two of my dream holidays wrapped up in one! And one of you did it for you honeymoon? I'm getting married in summer 2013 hopefully... how did you convince the other half? Have I left long enough to talk him into it?! lol.
