Horse behavior

Hi is there anyone out there who knows how to read horse behavior we have a new horse at our yard and the new horse is in the feild next to mine for a few weeks so they can be introduced gradually
The new horse and my horse seem to be obsessed with each other they spend all day over the fence at each other like biting each other on there neck and withers not grooming one another but like playing annoying one another but not squealing or kicking just annoying each other should I be worried

my thoroughbred and my 4yo enjoy biting each others faces and necks, they are like a pair of kids.

They're playing? Have you really never seen horses playing before? Just like young humans - it's fun, it helps their social development and it helps their physical development. If they were in together, they'd probably be playing chase and charge too, but since they can't do that, they're playing nip and shove.
