Hi, I am currently studying an extended project qualification, the topic I have chosen to discuss is 'factors affecting horse behavior'. As part of my research I am looking for other peoples experience, particularly on gastric ulcers: however, aspects of temperament and rider errors are also included. It would be greatly appreciated if you could answer the below questionnaire in as much detail as possible! Feel free to provide any more information you think may be relevant regarding your experiences! I can provide my email address if this is preferred, thanks in advance.

I am more than happy to discuss this in detail. Please ring me on 07718107514. The symptoms you list would appear to be from a text book but I can tell you from my own experience and of those on three Facebook forums that in reality the symptoms are not as per textbook. Gastric ulcers also lead to hind gut acidosis / dysbiosis and I have just had my horses to a specialist vet in Suffolk who is light years ahead of anyone else in this country - Leahurst Equine Practice and Hospital tried for 12 months with mine and then gave up.
