why does my 2 year old gelding (homebred, done it since a foal) glue his nose to my face, head or hair, and I mean glued, he's either nuzzling, sticking his head ontop of my head or using his lips and lipping my hair, I mean you cannot get him off!! you blow up his nasal passages and he just breathes you in!! I've had horses nuzzle before but not to this level!!It's lovely, just wondered why??!! Is it a male thing, (having owned mares all my life males are new oddity!! lol!!) he seems to only do this with me to this level

ahhh thank you that's lovely!!.... just wondered if male horses in general were like this, his mum is a very loving horse in her own right, but is nothing like this!! I can't wait to get on him next year!!!

My first pony was a mare and had no interest in being "cuddly", my current horse is a youngish gelding and he's very affectionate, snuffles my hair, nuzzles my shoulder, oh and he 'nips' me any chance he gets! :D
